Welcome back, Oakland Elementary Students and Families!
 
It is a distinct honor and privilege that I have been afforded to join Oakland Elementary School as your new principal. I come to you with nineteen years of experience as an educator. This includes my validated competence as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and Central Office Supervisor. Additionally, I have served as an Academic Assistant at the collegiate level. 

As your newly appointed principal, I am excited to partner with you to ensure that every student successfully reaches their full academic potential while maintaining a love for learning. During elementary school, students begin to build the foundation upon which they will rest their academic success. As we commit to entering a partnership to facilitate such success, the integral role parental support plays in fertilizing said students' academic growth will become increasingly evident. 

Further, it is through our working together as a family to collaborate, persevere, and serve our students that not only will they receive the best educational experiences possible, but we will proudly witness the incredible achievements Oakland Elementary makes in its rise to the top. I encourage you to rally around our theme for the year, "We Shine Brighter Together." It is my sincere belief that "It takes a Village." As such, your input is vital as we move toward becoming the best.
