My name is Emily Peterson, your child will know me as Mrs. Emily. I
serve as the STEM teacher for students in Pre-K through 5th grade at
Oakland Elementary School. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree
in Elementary Education, which I will graduate with in May 2025. I
also hold a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science.Every day, I have the
privilege of helping children explore, create, and experiment in the
fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. I am passionate
about working with young learners and love seeing their excitement as
they engineer solutions, build projects, and discover new ideas. My
goal is to inspire students from all backgrounds to believe they have
the potential to change the world through STEM. I am dedicated to
creating an environment where every child feels empowered to think
critically, problem-solve, and realize they can make a lasting impact
on the world around them
