Mary Beth Brock

Greetings!

My name is Mary Beth Brock, and I am excited to be your child’s science and social studies teacher for the 2025–2026 school year at Oakland Elementary School.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Memphis and am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Education through Union University, with an expected graduation in May 2026. I also hold a practitioner’s teaching license in the state of Tennessee.

While I am newer into my elementary teaching career, I bring over 30 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. For nearly 27 years, I worked at Collierville Christian Academy, where I held multiple roles including planning, implementing, and managing preschool and school-age programs during the school year and summer camps. In 2022, I transitioned to Collierville Elementary School, where I served as a general education assistant, SPED paraprofessional, and most recently, as an interim second-grade teacher.

Outside of the classroom and graduate studies, I enjoy babysitting and volunteering with the children and youth ministries at both my current and former churches. I also love spending quality time spoiling my nieces and nephew whenever I get the chance.

I am truly passionate about creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where each student can grow and thrive. I look forward to partnering with you this school year to support your child’s academic success!
